Shower Epiphany: The Unlimitedly Outraged in 30 seconds.

You can usually tell the narrow minded and intellectual lazy by their dislikes and "hatreds". Usually when an idea, person, or place is mentioned to bring up some sort of imaginary ire from these individuals there is a huge outrage on how something is "wrong", "racist", "sexist", or any other buzzword you can think of but when asked to give reasons the emotional output drops from a 10 to a 3 or so.

For example, I'm a huge fan of Bill Maher. Love  the guy. Ask me about his views on vaccines and I'm going to tell you he's an idiot of the caliber of Jim Carry, Jenny McArthy (I don't care if I spell it right) or any other conspiracy idiot who believes that vaccines cause Autism and not vaccinating is better for everyone. If you ask me about Ann Coulter, I can tell you that I don't think much of her as a human being AND give you numerous reasons with the same or a higher emotional output. If you question me about Hitch and I'll tell you how he has not only forwarded the Atheist Movement by giving many people a strong voice to give room to question dogma, but he was also a talented orator and brilliant writer. Iraq war? He was completely wrong. Did he have reasons? Sure, but they are not even worth the best that came out of it and I will continue to disagree with him even in his or my death. Austerity? Bullshit from the wealthy. Repealing Obama care for the 37 attempt? A waste of tax dollars from cooperate bought bastards who should be brought up on treason charges by now.

These people? " I don't like this person/thing/thought because it's buzzword." Really why? Is there anything redeeming? How would you salvage such an idea? How are they wrong? Do they have good qualities or are they just bad because someone told you to memorize a specific speech and talking points because it's/they're bad? What is the worst instance? How does this/they compare to others? How should this be dealt with?

And here is the reason why I don't pay too much heed to the intellectual lazy and the narrow minded. Outside of "Ban abortion" 20 second film bite they is not rational to a solution, compromise or even an idea why it's bad.
